COOLING UPGRADE SYSTEM
BC HYDRO W.A.C. BENNETT DAM
This project involved the installation of insulation on approximately 3,500 linear feet of upgraded chilled water supply and return piping servicing all 10 turbines, located within the underground structure of the dam. The scope included the application of high-performance insulation systems finished with durable PVC jacketing to ensure long-term protection and efficiency in a demanding environment.
Executed in a complex and confined setting, the project was completed with a strong focus on coordination, quality control, and safety. The result was a fully approved installation with zero incidents, demonstrating our team’s ability to deliver high-standard work in critical infrastructure conditions.
